Property management company Hines needed a video, cd-rom a folder with inserts to promote a building in Miami.

I worked with the art director to design the inserts, typeset the copy, and retouched all the photos used in the brochure. I chose the music for the video and worked with the sound editor to match the voiceover and music to the video.

As we designed the printed materials, I created a design for the cd-rom to match the content of the folder inserts. The cd-rom included the video, which I compressed once we had the final edit with audio.

While we were working on the video, I created a promo cd-rom with the content from the existing brochure for the office tower. I compressed the video once it was complete to include it on the cd-rom.

Flooring company Tarkett needed a promotional video for their commercial product line, Azrock, for a sales meeting and for their sales staff to take with them on laptops. The only directive from the client was to use a rock or uptempo music bed. They also wanted to animate their logo.

I worked with the video editor, and we pulled the visual of the tile samples scrolling across the screen from another Tarkett video that I had done. I picked some surf music in the style of Dick Dale, which matched the energy of the video. The video editor and I worked with the sound editor to time the music to the final video. Once the video was complete, I compressed it for playback on Windows.

Tarkett needed a video for their premium tile line for their sales staff to use on their laptops. They had a theme of “Come Together”, so we used the Beatles song as a music bed for the video.

I used the same video editor who worked on the Azrock video, and we tried something a little different to reveal the tile samples and tile room scenes. Once the video was approved with a rough cut of the music, we went to an editing studio to tweak the timing of the audio. After that, I converted the video for use on the sales force laptops.
